So, The news is in... The new Muppet movie will be directed by "Flight of the Conchords" co-creator, James Bobin. Which makes an already interesting situation, VER VERY interesting, as the script for the film was written by Jason Segel and Nicolas Stoller the duo who wrote "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." Obviously Disney is looking to keep the Muppet's relevant in hiring a creative team with such wacky and inventive resumes. If you are not familiar with "Flight of the Conchords," it's an HBO comedy about two guys from New Zealand who live in New York City. Did I mention that they sing really wacky and strange songs as well? Well, here is one of them, in a hilarious scene directed by James Bobin. Surely he can get the same kind of laughs with the Muppet's.
Disney Parks just released images of some of the "sweet" gift ideas that will be available during the "Valentines" season at Disney Parks, including these ridiculously sweet Purple and Red Vinylmation figures.
